Aniello De Sena Soulmates

Soulmates è una band nata nel 2020 dall’unione dei musicisti Aniello De Sena (tromba e synth), Raff Ranieri (piano e tastiere), Aldo Capasso (contrabbasso e basso elettrico) e Marco Fazzari (batteria). L’idea che sta alla base del gruppo è la ricerca di sonorità che possano incuriosire l’orecchio esperto ma anche catturare quello meno esigente attraverso la semplicità melodica e armonica, la freschezza e la potenza ritmica e la dinamicità dell’interplay. Sempre in quest’ottica, sono stati inseriti in alcuni brani chitarra (Michele Caccavale), flauto traverso (Francesco Desiato) e congas (Ivan Dureve), per donare più colore e corpo alla struttura classica del quartetto jazz.

Soulmates is a band born in 2020 from the union of musicians Aniello De Sena (trumpet and synth), Raff Ranieri (piano and keyboards), Aldo Capasso (double bass and electric bass) and Marco Fazzari (drums). The idea behind the group is the search for sounds that can intrigue the expert ear but also capture the less demanding one through melodic and harmonic simplicity, freshness and rhythmic power and dynamism of the interplay. Always with this in mind, guitar (Michele Caccavale), flute (Francesco Desiato) and congas (Ivan Dureve) have been included in some pieces, to give more color and body to the classic structure of the jazz quartet.
